Static Intercept ?Tabs will not harm any metals or gemstones even when in contact with the tab (not even opals, emeralds, or pearls). Simply place your jewellery, silver or other precious metal items in a dry container such as a jewellery box, pouch or zip-lock bag and place a Static Intercept ?Tab in the container. Intercept Technology anti-tarnish tabs will protect your items for upto 12 months in a sealed container. One 1″x 1″ tab will protect containers that measure upto 30 cubic inches (approx 490 cubic cm ).
