The 8mm dia pad is approx 0.2mm thick, through this is riveted a 0.7mm dia post, there is a head on either side of the pad. This “double riveting” technique virtually assures that in the most common bend test for ear posts, the post will break before the assembly fails. The grooved pegged flat padded posts can be used to glue or embed on your half drilled flat surfaced beads ideal for Swarovski 5817 pearls. The flat surface of the pad will stabilize and the peg will centre your finding upon insertion. The post is stamped 925. Medium or large scrolls will fit these items.
