Sterling Silver Flat Pad and Post Fitting 4.0mm Pad. The 4mm diameter pad is approx 0.2mm thick, through this is riveted a 0.7mm dia post, there is a head on either side of the pad. This “double riveting” technique virtually assures that in the most common bend test for ear posts, the post will break before the assembly fails. The post is stamped 925.
